Moving Forward with Arthritis is a health and lifestyle podcast dedicated to helping people take control of life with arthritis and chronic joint pain. Hosted by Sharon Caddy, who shares her personal journey from a highly active lifestyle to navigating osteoarthritis, joint replacements, and long-term recovery, the podcast brings together leading medical professionals, health experts, and real patients to share practical insights and honest conversations.
Sharon Caddy is the host of Moving Forward with Arthritis, a podcast dedicated to real conversations, practical guidance, and hope for people living with arthritis. A veteran broadcaster, Realtor, and speaker, Sharon has been living with arthritis for more than 20 years.
Her journey began at age 40 after a trip to New York City, when what seemed like temporary hip pain led to a diagnosis of osteoarthritis. Seven years later she underwent her first hip replacement. Like many people living with arthritis, the diagnosis changed how she approached her health, career, and daily life.
Through the podcast, Sharon speaks with medical professionals, health experts, and people living with arthritis to explore topics such as treatment options, joint replacement, exercise, footwear, nutrition, and mental health.
Sharon brings more than two decades of broadcasting experience to the show, including work as a radio announcer, weather anchor for CTV Toronto and Canada AM, host of the national lifestyle program Real Life on CTS TV, and co-host of Kelly & Company on Accessible Media Inc. She is also a Real Estate Broker with RE/MAX Realty Specialists in Mississauga and a professional speaker who shares her experiences living with arthritis and navigating career changes later in life.
Moving Forward with Arthritis is a deeply personal project for Sharon, created to provide clear information, expert insight, and encouragement for anyone learning how to live well with arthritis.
